Dr. James Schlichting, D.O.

Dr.Schlichting is board certified in Neurology and Psychiatry and completing his doctorate degree in Psychology in July. He treats patients with pinched nerves, debilitating problems from multiple sclerosis including impairment in walking, numbness and weakness in the limbs, dementia with problems with memory and behavioral problems like hallucinations, migraine headaches which are sick headaches with accompanying nausea and visual problems, as well as painful peripheral neuropathy from diabetes or other conditions. He is also doing psychotherapy with patients that have neurological problems and develop depression or anxiety from chronic pain and debilitation, as well as with patients that have experienced trauma and develop Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

A neurologist is a doctor who is trained to treat disorders of the nervous system, which includes diseases of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. The most commonly treated conditions include:
